Nichole was my doula for my first child. I was so nervous about having a baby, and I wanted to do everything right. When I interviewed Nichole, I knew she was “the one”.
Nichole’s patience, knowledge, and good attitude really helped allay my fears. When I was misdiagnosed with placenta previa and placed on “pelvic rest”, she stuck by me. While we waited to find out if my daughter’s heart and kidneys would be ok, she stuck by me. Having Nichole as a doula helped calm my first-time mom jitters.
I only wish that Nichole could have been with me at my daughter’s birth. She was called to attend another birth just before I went into labor. But no worries, her replacement doula had the same attributes as Nichole, and did a wonderful job.

Nichole is an exceptionally knowledgeable doula, bringing with her a decade of
experience as a mother of 6, doula, midwife assistant, childbirth educator, and
birth advocate. The birth of our second child was a very long and difficult
labor and Nichole spent almost 24 hours laboring by my side, providing physical
and emotional support to me and my husband both in our home and at the hospital.
Even when that labor ended in a cesarean, Nichole was the one constant to us
throughout that long labor. Because of her steady and calm presence, we didn’t
feel overwhelmed or alone in the hospital. Three years later I delivered our
third baby via VBA2C, and Nichole was once again there to support me. Her words
of empathy and encouragement helped me to cope with the discomfort of
contractions non medicated. And when I pushed my baby out, she celebrated the
birth of our baby with the joy of a friend who had shared a long birth history
with us.
